Oil and coolant come together to form the power of a soon to be dead engine.

These phantom “OH SHIT” marks always amuse/ sadden me.
Last time we were off-roading in Death Valley we saw a little bit of oil on the top of a rock, followed by a lot of oil that gradually tapered to nothing over the course of a couple hundred feet. Someone had a very bad day.

On a trail, I once saw a two mile long trickle of gear oil from a diff that had asploded, then it just stopped. I bet that was a bad day.

I saw the Bloody Mary version of that off a ski lift one morning. Though I imagine their day got better once that was all over.

Once
there was this car that
Got into an accident and started leaking fluids
But when those fluids blended
The pavement turned from grey into baby poop
They say that it was from when
The cars had smashed up sooooooooooooooo haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrd

It is possible the car is leaking both oil and coolant. My car leaks a very small amount of both and I see brown spots like like this in my regular parking spots when rain mixes the coolant and oil together. I’ve seen no sign of the two mixing when I change oil or check the oil. Just nice brown oil.
